Everyone feels stressed from time to time, but what is stress? According to the National Institute of Mental Health, "Stress is how the brain and body respond to any demand". One demand that people find in their life at one point is the demand of schoolwork. College is one of the most stressful times in people's lives and having exams every couple weeks in addition to weekly homework assignments and essays due can be a lot on an individual and induce stress.

Some ways you can reduce stress in your life is by implementing physical exercise into your schedule, practicing mental relaxation techniques, learning time management skills and getting the proper nutrition. All of these things have been proven to reduce stress in one's life. 

Stress can directly affect your health and it is important to notice how you deal with different types of stressful events so that you can learn to reduce or handle it.  This website is here to offer tips and provide tools in all of these areas to better manage stress. Click the tabs above to learn more about each stress-handling aspect.
